The Psychic

Two years ago around New Years I went to see a psychic in Toronto. She took a look into my future by reading my coffee beans (I drank a cup of espresso, and she read the coffee beans at the bottom of the cup) and gave me a general overview of my career, love life, and answered any other questions I had. And though these things can be some mumbo jumbo/hocus pocus, I like the idea of it. It's a funny and silly thing to do, and though you can take it with a grain of salt, some things they say are scarily accurate. I decided to do a reading because I'm kind of in a funky point in my life and thought, "Why not?". Also, it was one of my resolutions to enjoy myself and get out more. Maybe she could give me some insight as to what my future holds, and if anything, it would just be something that I did for giggles.

I went to the Original Tremont Tearoom in downtown Boston, and had my tarot cards read. Scarily accurate is all I could think as she was reading my cards. And though she had great things to say about my future (all of which I hope to come true), the psychic said it herself, "It's just a deck of cards." But here's to hoping that good fortunes will come!
